Hi friend, I’m so happy you’re here! I’m Lara, a Boca Raton newborn and family photographer and the owner of Greenwood Photography.
With over ten years of experience behind the camera, I’ve had the joy of photographing so many mamas, babies and families and I truly love every second of it.
You’ll find me all across South Florida, including Boca Raton, Parkland, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, and nearby cities, capturing everything from maternity sessions and baby milestones to growing families and, of course, newborns (they have my heart!).
Tucked away in Coral Springs, my cozy studio is my favorite hideaway. It’s warm, welcoming, and designed to be a calm, safe space for you and your baby to relax and enjoy photo day. I’m all about making things easy and stress-free from our very first conversation, and hopefully for many years to come as your family grows.

A Favorite Spot for Portraits: Boca Raton, FL
Boca Raton is one of my favorite cities to photograph families—it blends luxury, natural beauty, and laid-back charm in all the best ways. Whether I'm photographing your maternity session at Red Reef Park, sweet family moments at Spanish River Park, or a fun-filled family portrait at Mizner Park, this South Florida city always delivers stunning, scenic backdrops.
Mizner Park is where I love to spend an afternoon to grab a bite and stroll. A favorite shopping spot is Sugarboo. It has the perfect cozy, coastal-boho vibe. Bonus, check out the back of the store for adorable baby gifts. I even find adorable stuffed lovies and knits that I’ve used as props in countless newborn sessions. Mizner Park also has a Sur la Table where I’ve done a cooking class for a girl’s night out which was super fun!
The Boca Raton is a beautiful, world-class resort that I’m lucky enough to have a few friends who are members. It’s really the most beautiful and historic place to have a special meal. They also have a private beach club with valet parking, cabanas and incredible food. I was at The Boca Raton Beach Club recently for an engageme nt session and we had the dreamiest golden hour light. It was timeless, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful, everything you’d hope for in a South Florida love story
Some more fun Boca spots - Boca is where I go for self-care and everyday life! I get my hair done at Erin Kelly Salon. I call it my Cheers- like the TV show- because it's the kind of salon where everybody knows your name. You get to know not only your hairdresser but all of the other staff which I think is so special. We love to do special occasion dinners at Trattoria Romana, (try the Pappardelle Short Rib), and I joke that I’m a regular at Town Center Mall, well I guess I am a regular, we all need a bit of retail therapy.
With upscale neighborhoods, kid-friendly parks, and vibrant energy, Boca Raton is an ideal location for maternity photography, baby milestones, and family portraits. And the best part? My cozy Coral Springs studio is just a quick 20-minute drive for Boca area families- so telling your story here feels easy and close to home.
