Do I love a mama who’s all about a little drama? Absolutely! This first-time mom was a vision in front of the camera for her outdoor maternity photoshoot in Coral Springs. It was another perfect evening for a beautiful pregnancy photoshoot.
A Special Maternity Session Story
I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph this mom. She was a friend who had moved out of state. When she announced she was expecting I was upset I would not get to celebrate her with a maternity photo shoot. But happily, she returned to South Florida for her baby shower and she called to schedule her Coral Springs maternity photoshoot with me! Yay!!
We had a tight timeline but we made it work! She scheduled her hair and makeup, we met at our location, shot her maternity photos and she went straight to her baby shower at her mom’s house when we were done. Talk about time management! But it was totally worth it!

Here’s a pro tip—if this isn’t your first baby, and we are including family in your session- start by choosing your dress first. It’s much easier to coordinate the rest of the family’s outfits around your look. We will plan it all together.
A Hidden Coral Springs Location
We shot at one of my favorite hidden gems in the Coral Springs area, a location that always leaves people wondering “where is that”? Honestly, it was just a little spot I found one day while driving around Coral Springs.
The best part? Mom couldn’t believe how such a simple walk through an unexpected space could result in such stunning images. She was in awe of how amazing she looked and what an incredible backdrop we got! Full of greenery, grasses and even some vintage looking wood- it had it all!
