As a photographer offering studio maternity portraits to Pompano Beach clients, having a selection of gowns and wardrobe options for my clients is HUGE! Especially for studio looks. Not having to figure out what to wear for their studio session lowers stress levels dramatically and just makes the entire experience more enjoyable.

Building a Client Wardrobe for Studio Pregnancy Sessions
I find my client wardrobe anywhere and everywhere. I am always on the lookout! From high-end maternity vendors around the world to vintage shops, everyday finds, and even client buy-backs. I love collecting unique pieces.
Dramatic and formal pieces or the perfect t-shirt that hugs just right at the top of a perfect baby bump. Yes, the shopping IS absolutely fun!

The Studio Maternity Portrait Experience
Maternity sessions are such a treat when it is just mom and I in the studio. It is her time to slow down, be pampered and enjoy the moment, leaving other responsibilities behind. We can set the mood to whatever makes mom feel her best. The vibes might be soft and acoustic or a total banger! Mom sets the tone.
This stunning mom, expecting her third baby, truly embodies beauty, inside and out. Each look we chose for her session gave dramatically different looks. I made sure they are all comfortable and easy to move in making her session more enjoyable and relaxing. We are supposed to have fun afterall!
While my studio is in Coral Springs, many of my pregnancy clients come from surrounding areas like Pompano Beach, and I always tell them to make a date night after our session together. My recommendation? The Beach House, right on N Pompano Beach Blvd. I went there when it first opened and fell in love!

My Approach to Studio Maternity Portraits
My style is always simple, relaxed with a touch of luxe. With just a few wardrobe swaps, backdrop changes, and some subtle shifts in posing, we create a collection of looks for your proof gallery that feel effortless but intentional.
For Laura’ session, I really leaned into soft, warm edits with a hint of film nostalgia. Her gallery turned out absolutely spectacular, and I couldn’t wait to share them with her.
Every so often, a mom reaches out to say they’re expecting again but don’t feel like another maternity session. I always remind them that these photos only grow more meaningful with time. I call them “wine photos”, they only get better as time goes by.
