I hope this page gives you a little glimpse into who I am.

I’ve loved taking photos for as long as I can remember. It just took me a while to realize I could do it for a living!

You know what they say, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” I can honestly say that’s 100% true for me.

My grandfather gave me my first camera when I was in the third grade. I was so excited, I raced through a whole roll of film in ten minutes and begged my mom to take me to the drugstore to drop it off. A few days later, I tore open the envelope of prints and found 24 spectacular photos… of my own eyeball. I had the camera pointed the wrong way. First lesson in photography: check which way the lens is facing! 😄

A few things about me (because it’s only fair—after all, you’ll be trusting me with a very special chapter of your story):

• I went to 13 schools between kindergarten and 12th grade (and no, we weren’t a military family!).
• I proudly won “Chatterbox of the Year” in 5th grade from Mrs. Sealy, and I’d probably still win today.
• I love old movie musicals, concerts, and making memories with family and friends.

Before becoming a photographer, I spent 11 years in Human Resources. After that, I took on an even more demanding role: full-time carpool driver to swim and hockey practices. And I wouldn’t trade that time for anything.

Is this starting to sound like a dating profile? Writing about yourself is weird. 😄
