This family! They’re my OGs. The best of the best. From the very beginning, and throughout the years, they’ve been with me every step of the way. In that time, we’ve captured newborn sessions, portraits with grandparents, personality shoots, and annual family photos. Our Tradition: A New Spot Every Session
Over the years, we’ve had sessions all over South Florida. The kiddos are both growing so fast and are really into soccer, so much that we even had their family session on the soccer field in Fort Lauderdale.
We have had family sessions in random fields, Birch State Park on the Intercoastal, and along Las Olas Blvd for an urban feel. Over time, coming up with a fresh location each session has become our little tradition. (though I’ll admit-it’s getting tricky!).

Why I Love Photographing Family Photos in Delray Beach
Most of all, what makes it so special is watching the kids grow. Even better, they now expect each session to feel fun and new which makes me really step up my creativity. That kind of trust and connection is the best.
This year, we chose Delray Oaks for its lush trees and winding trails. I try to treat family sessions like an adventure for the kids, not a photoshoot. An adventure where I have to participate in the games and look at bugs while taking photos but it really does make it fun for everyone.

Naturally, you want your family’s photos taken, but I know the planning part can feel overwhelming. What should we wear? Will the weather turn? Will the kids behave?
The good news? I’m not stressed about any of it. We figure it all out together. I have a great styling app to coordinate the entire familiy so you have a cohesive look without being matchy matchy.
I’ve yet to meet a mom who doesn’t step out of the car with a big sigh. Alas, once you get out of the car, you can relax- I’ve got it it from there.
