Hi friend, I’m so happy you’re here! I’m Lara, a Parkland maternity, newborn and family photographer and the owner of Greenwood Photography.
With over ten years of experience behind the camera, I’ve had the joy of photographing so many mamas, babies and families and I truly love every second of it.
You’ll find me all across South Florida, including Boca Raton, Parkland, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, and nearby cities, capturing everything from maternity sessions and baby milestones to growing families and, of course, newborns (they have my heart!).
Tucked away in Coral Springs, my cozy studio is my favorite hideaway. It’s warm, welcoming, and designed to be a calm, safe space for you and your baby to relax and enjoy photo day. I’m all about making things easy and stress-free from our very first conversation, and hopefully for many years to come as your family grows.

Not only does she capture the best photos of your baby but she is also so kind, patient and creative. Parkland- The Perfect Backdrop
We lived in Parkland for 12 years, and one of the biggest things that drew us in was how family-focused and community-driven it is. It’s a city that somehow feels both elevated and cozy—with that hometown charm you don’t find just anywhere.
As one of the smaller cities in Broward County, Parkland has such a peaceful, family-first vibe. I just love the quiet neighborhoods, parks around every corner, and some of the best schools in the area. It’s no surprise so many families plant roots here and I love getting to photograph them in such a beautiful setting.
The parks in Parkland are some of my favorite places to shoot. They’ve got perfect wide open spaces that sets the tone for a fun or laid-back session. Covered Bridge Park is definitely a favorite—with its iconic little bridge and peaceful scenery, it’s such gem. I just love that little “bridge to nowhere”, it has so much character.
When we first moved to Parkland, it was starting to grow from its equestrian-town days. Since then, it’s really grown! These days you don’t have to drive into Coral Springs or Boca to find a good coffee or dinner spot. I love catching up with a friend over coffee at Carmela Coffee Company or heading to Malbec Grill for a date night. And there’s even sushi at Bluefin Sushi. I really enjoy them all!
We moved only three short miles away to Coral Springs where my studio is now, but I will always remember my family's time in Parkland with the happiest memories. I’d love to help you capture your family’s story in this beautiful city.
